GOODGOING
TOMMY &
This is another exciting litter
by Tommy. He is crossing very well
with daughters of GGI Louie, like Becky and Holly.
Becky is quickly earning a good reputation as a producer.
This litter is an active bunch and they are very friendly. They are
developing well and are enjoying their daily play time.
This is a very attractive litter with great markings and they are very
stylish. They will be great
prospects for the 2008 hunting season.
GOODGOING TOMMY GOODGOING TOMMY is
almost an exact replica of his father, GOODGOING TOMOKA.
It amazes me how similar they are in the areas of physical appearance and
general behaviors. We are
excited about Tommy’s potential as a sire.
He is a great bird finder and very natural at pointing and retrieving.
His natural ability and personality have made him a joy to train.
GOODGOING TOMOKA was a
prominent sire in our breeding program through most of the 1990’s and early
2000’s. CH TOMOKA has had
as much influence in shaping the future of the English Setter breed as any other
dog in history. Tomoka's ability to
win was seen throughout the Shooting Dog trial world.
His ability to produce winners was seen throughout all arenas, including
fine gun dogs, Shoot-To-Retrieve Trials and Shooting Dog Championships.
5xNATIONAL SHOOT TO RETRIEVE CH LIGHTFOOT DUKE, has 2 crosses to
the great producer I'M OSCAR.
MAX’S MISS UNDERSTOOD
(Jane) has a strong desire and great bird sense.
She is of nice size and very stylish.
She has proven herself as a producer, with two very nice litters, by GGI
Tomoka and GGI Brannigan. MAX and
MAX JR. have both earned reputations as solid winning bird dogs and solid
producers. Both have sired many
great winners. SOUTHWIN MIKE
has picked up the winning ways of his father 9xCH Hick’s Rising Sun.
GOODGOING BECKY GOODGOING BECKY is
an exciting young prospect by Louie and Annie.
Both of these dogs have proven to be great producers over the several
litters they have each had. We are
looking forward to Becky following in her mother footsteps and becoming one of
our next top dams. She has already
had a very nice litter with GGI Leo and more recently a litter by GGI Tommy,
which we are very excited about. Becky
has a strong and athletic build. She
combines a tenacious desire to hunt and find birds with the sweetest
personality.
GOODGOING LOUIE has been
a great addition to our breeding program. He has a top-flight pedigree, while
possessing a warm personality and an easy handling style. His litters are
looking very nice in the way of personality and natural ability and it is even
more exciting to see how well they are developing into fine young bird dogs. HAMILTON’S BLUE DIAMOND
was named winner of the ’97 Bill Colin Setter S.D. Derby Award and the ’97
Elwin G. Smith S.D. Award. In 1998 he again won the Elwin G. Smith S.D. Award,
along with the Top Shooting Dog Award. He has also sired many great setters,
including the Smith Setter, 2xCH High Mark. HICKS RISING SUN won the
John S. O’Neall Sr., English Setter Award in 1994 and 1996. His brother CH
Skidrow Joe won it in 1993 and his half brother GOODGOING ANNIE is very
stylish while quartered on point. She
works hard, yet is sensible and is easy to handle.
She has a tremendous personality. Annie
also consistently puts these same attributes into her pups.
They have great desire to work, yet are sensible and enjoy being around
people. Her pedigree is made up of
many great grouse champions. BEEN’S GREAT DAY
placed 2nd in the 1996 Grand National Grouse Futurity, along with his
brother Erico, who placed 3rd. GROUSE
RIDGE BEEN has produced many great dogs, including 2xCH True Citizen and
3xCH Grouse Ridge Storm (Nat. Grouse Champion). STILLMEADOW’S JIM captured
the 1992 Grand National Grouse Championship, helping earn him the Michael A.
Seminatore Setter Cover Dog Award, as the country’s top Grouse Setter. PIONEER TRAIN JAKE is a
back-to-back winner of the Lake States Grouse Championship, 1986 & 87.
He also produced countless top grouse dogs, including CRACKER JACK
TRAIN. Who is another
winner of the Michael A. Seminatore Setter Cover Dog Award, as the country’s
top Grouse Setter in 1993. GROUSE RIDGE J earned a
great reputation as a producer. In
addition to producing GROUSE RIDGE KRYPTO, the ’96 Kentucky Shooting
Dog Champion, he also sired 2xRU-CH Grouse Ridge Henry, G.R. Virginia, and G.R.
