With limited breeding Blue has proven to be a strong sire.  We are excited to see another litter by him.  Blue produced an outstanding litter with GGI Classic Mary.  Mary and May share a similar pedigree.  We are looking forward to seeing the same traits come through in May’s litter, strong well built dogs with great natural talent.

GOODGOING CLASSIC BLUE:

BLUE is an exciting young sire.  He is an athletic dog with great style, while maintaining the larger size, square build and closer hunting style of the Ryman type setter.  He has developed into a great bird dog and companion.                                                                       

We have help in the training of LAIRD OF HIGHMOOR “JAMIE” since he was a young dog.  He has been exciting to watch develop and has turned in to a very solid bird dog.  He also takes training well.  His owner Sandy Hudson has put a Master Hunter title and a CDX obedience title on him.  Jamie comes form a solid back ground of hunters and dogs of sound health.    

BELL combines the best of our Ryman line, through Judy and the best of our Shooting Dog line, through Brannigan.  She is the offspring of the type of breeding that has been the cornerstone of our Classic line for many years.  These breedings combine the slower hunting style and larger size of the Rymans, with the trainability and intensity of the Shooting Dogs.   

GOODGOING CLASSIC MAY: 

MAY is one of our larger females.  She has a square and solid build.  She hunts hard, moves nicely and has good style.  She has a great personality and is fun to work with.  Her Brother, GGI Classic Zeus is also an outstanding dog.

May is from our very successful outcross to GOODGOING BRANNIGAN.  BRANNIGAN has been a tremendous addition to our Classic line.  4xCH BRANNIGAN, one of the most notable of all the Smith Champions, was a great winner and produced many great champions, including CH Barnum (1984 TSDA Wr.), CH Grandeur (1990 TSDA Wr.), CH Flair, CH Master Craftsman, and CH Tradition.  

GAIL, ABRA and ABBIE have been a strong producing female line.  They have all been strong natural bird dogs that have developed early.  They have also been some of our top producers and we look for May to follow in they footsteps.                                                  

AMES was a true star in our Classic Setter program.  He has produced over 20 litters, with outstanding results.  His pups have developed early and have turned into exceptional bird dogs.  JUDY’S breeding is 100% Ryman.  She made many great contributions and can be found in all of our Classic pedigrees.  PUSKER was an excellent gun dog and made a great cross with our original Ryman line.  His pedigree is made up of a great percentage of Ryman breeding.  CLASSIC AUTUMN ASPEN is bred in Ryman and Old Hemlock lines and has earned a reputation as a great sire.
