STRIKE’S
breeding includes many of our original dogs, through his grandmother, Haley.
These early sires and dams were instrumental in establishing our current
breeding program. We were able to
develop the traits we like and learn which breedings would carry them on more
consistently. Two other important
parts of Strike’s pedigree are Twister and Major.
Both were great sires that we were lucky enough to acquire at the right
time. They crossed exceptionally
well with our line-up of females to help maintain and even raise the bar on
establishing the traits we desire in our line.
Strike has great desire; he loves water work and retrieving.
He is also a joy to hunt upland game with.
He loves to work the cover, yet is easy to handle.
He did a great job in
South Dakota
this fall. He worked standing corn,
sun flowers and CRP very well and made many challenging retrieves.
MAJOR has
proven himself as a consistent sire of great hunting
Labradors
. He has now sired over 30 litters.
He produce prodigy with sensible personalities, great drive to work and
to please with good looks and build. Major
has had a tremendous influence on our breeding program over the last several
years. Now his sons and daughters
are quickly showing their ability to produce these characteristics into their
puppies.
FC HAWKEYE’S MAJOR DAY earned
over 30 all-age points in his trial career.
FC LAKERIDGE’S MAGNUM MIKE earned 60
Derby
points and an open win before 2 years old.

1996 National Top Derby Dog and 1998 NFC).
LUCY is
a perfect example of tremendous desire combined with a pleasant personality.
She is a solid and well built female.
She has also proven to be a very good producer.
Combining these attributes is a major goal in our program.
TWISTER is a well bred Lab with good size and great conformation.
He has produced many excellent litters, with a great desire to retrieve,
hunt hard and with pleasing personalities. Twister's
father, TWIST AND SHOUT is an accomplished trail dog, as well as an

only 1 point to make FC.
