KING is quickly proving himself as a great sire.  He is a smaller male, with a solid build.  We originally acquired him hoping he would cross well with Major’s daughters.  Over the past several years we have evaluated many young males for this purpose and had not found what we were looking for.  King is filling this nitch very well.  He has been bred to a few Major’s daughters and produced very consistent litters.  His pups are healthy, strong performers and have great temperaments.

FOX-C’S TAKE IT TO THE BANK was a competitive trial dog, along with earning a reputation as a strong producer with limited breeding.  He was known for producing trainable pups with strong desire.  BLUEGRASS DUST COMMANDER has over 50 All-Age points and was a finalist in the 1991 National Retriever Championship. WILDERNESS HARLEY TO GO was a finalist in the 1989 National Amateur Retriever Championship and sire of ’93 CNAFC The Shooter, ’94 NFC Ruckus, ’96 NAFC Candlewood’s Bit O Bunny and countless other FC’s.

ESPRIT’S OUT OF THE WOODS is a full brother to FC-AFC Candlewoods Rita Reynolds and FC-AFC Creek Robber (2x High Point Open Dog, 2x High Point Amateur Dog and a finalist in 4 Nationals).  CODE BLUE is a grandson of Super Powder (1982 Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers), through his sire Code Red.  Blue was a finalist in the 1994 National Retriever Championship and the #4 Open Dog the same year.

EBONSTAR LEAN MAC qualified for the 1993 National Open Championship and was the youngest dog entered. Maxx was a finalist in the 1997, 1998 and 1999 National Open.  He was a two time winner of the National Amateur, 1995 and 2000 and a finalist 3 other times.  Maxx also captured the Canadian National Amateur in 1998 and 1999.  As of 2006 Maxx sired 8 dogs with 9 National wins.  His influence as a sire is comparable to pass greats like Super Chief and San Joaquin Honcho.
