HANK’S first pups are looking very nice.  They are showing great desire for birds and retrieving, excellent trainability and outstanding personalities.  Hank is a strong water and upland dog.  He is also very sensible and easy to handle.  His breeding includes many top Field Trial Labradors, as well as many top Good Go Ing Labradors.  Including, three of our top sires, Good Go Ing Charger, Good Go Ing Rudy and Good Go Ing Major.  Hank is a favorite of hunters on our game farm and is a stand out on hunting trips.  He is great at working cover and has good endurance.  On a resent trip to South Dakota he was a great asset and made several difficult retrieves on winged roosters.   

MAJOR is an exciting sire with an equally exciting pedigree.  His litters produce prodigy with sensible personalities, great drive to work and to please with very good looks.  Major’s breeding includes some of the most sound and influential Labradors in the history of the sport.  

FC HAWKEYE’S MAJOR DAY earned over 30 all-age points in his trial career.  FC LAKERIDGE’S MAGNUM MIKE earned 60 Derby points and an open win before 2 years old.  FC-AFC BLACK GOLD’S KATES RASCAL is a strong performer and producer.  Rascal earned 51 Derby points in the 1986 season and was 8th place over all.     

MADISON is proving to be a producer on the same level as Nancy , Classy, Mindy, Magic and Ruffian.  Her pedigree includes many of our top producing dams from the last 20 years.  She has great drive and style to perform, willingness to please and a great disposition.  RUDY proved to be a great addition to out breeding program and was our top sire through out the 1990’s.  His half brother FC-AFC-CFC-CAFC Papas Punch was a finalist in the 1993 and 1995 Canadian National Amateur Championships. 

ZIPAROO was a FC-AFC at 22 months of age, one of the youngest dogs in history to earn these titles.  He is also a brother to 6 other FC’s.  His sire, NAFC Trumarc's Zip Code (444 All-Age points) has been named the Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers 1991 to 1994.  His father, NFC San Joaquin Honcho earned the Outstanding Sire of Field Trail Retrievers award from 1983 to 1990.  Ziparoo's other grandfather, Super Powder was named the Outstanding Sire in 1982.  Super Powder produced the ’80 NFC Risky Business Ruby, ’82 NFC Westwind Supernova Chief and ’87 NAFC Westwind Jemima Super Cake      

CHARGER was a tremendous Labrador and our most influential sire through most of the 80’s and early 90’s.  His sire, PIPERS PACER, was named the ‘82 NAFC and CNFC.  He also sired many great performers including FC-AFC Hiwood Clincher and ’88 CNFC Hiwood Piper Pacer’s Pic (’85 Nat. Derby Champion).
