COPPER is an exciting young male by Major and Summer.  He is exceptionally bred, has great looks, strong natural desire for finding birds and working upland cover and desire for retrieving on land and water.  Copper also has a phenomenal personality.  He is very outgoing and friendly.  Copper is earning a reputation as a sire.  He has produced several exceptional litters, many by daughters of Good Go Ing Mr Davidson.   

MAJOR has proven himself as a consistent sire of great hunting Labradors .  He has now sired over 30 litters.  He produce prodigy with sensible personalities, great drive to work and to please with good looks and build.  Major has had a tremendous influence on our breeding program over the last several years.  Now his sons and daughters are quickly showing their ability to produce these characteristics into their puppies.   

FC HAWKEYE’S MAJOR DAY earned over 30 all-age points in his trial career.  FC LAKERIDGE’S MAGNUM MIKE earned 60 Derby points and an open win before 2 years old.  NFC SAN JOAQUIN HONCHO earned the Outstanding Sire of Field Trail Retrievers Award from 1983 to 1990.  From 1991 to 1997 two of his sons won this honor.  CAMAY MORNING has 14 all-age points and is a full sister to 9 FC’s.  She is by Super Powder  ex  FC-AFC Nakai Anny.  SUPER POWDER was named the Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers in 1982.  He produced many great dogs including ’80 NFC Risky Business Ruby, ’82 NFC Westwind Supernova Chief and ’87 NAFC Westwind Jemima Super Cake.       

FC-AFC BLACK GOLD’S KATES RASCAL is a strong performer and producer.  Rascal earned 51 Derby points in the 1986 season and was 8th place over all.  CHARLEMAGNE earned 185 ½ All-Age points, he is a 5 time National Finalist and sire of 10 FC’s.  FC-AFC WILDERNESS HARLEY TO GO was an ’89 Nat. Amt. Finalist and sire of ’93 CNAFC The Shooter, ’94 NFC Ruckus, ’96 NAFC Candlewood’s Bit O Bunny and countless other FC’s, including FC-AFC Webshire’s Honest Abe (Sire of 1996 National Top Derby Dog and 1998 NFC).           

SUMMER produced two very nice litters with Major.  She had great desire for working upland or waterfowl and the sweetest personality.  AFC HAWKEYE’S B.R. BUDDY was a competitive trial dog and a sire of top gun dogs.  FC-AFC CANDLEWOODS M.D. HOUSTON was named the High Point Amateur Dog in 1991,92 and 94.  He is a 3x Double Header Winner, with over 300 All-Age points.  Houston ’s sire, FC-AFC LAKERIDGE’S CHARLEMAGNE earned 185 ½ All-Age points, he is a 5 time National Finalist and sire of 10 FC’s.  These credentials make this the strongest line of yellows in history.   

FC-AFC L & M’S KWIK TRIP had an outstanding field trial career, earning himself 134.5 All-Age points.  His last placements were at nearly 10 years old.  He was also a finalist in the 1993 and 1994 National Amateur Retriever Championships.
