We are very excited to see this litter develop.  Copper has proven to be a consistent sire of outstanding gun dogs.  Traci has produced several nice litters.  Her last litter was sired by Dusty, Copper’s half brother, and has developed very well.  This litter with Copper may be her best yet.  

GOOD GO ING COPPER:

COPPER is an exciting young male by Major and Summer.  He is exceptionally bred, has great looks, strong natural desire for finding birds and working upland cover and desire for retrieving on land and water.  Copper also has a phenomenal personality.  He is very outgoing and friendly.  Copper is earning a reputation as a sire.  He has produced several exceptional litters, many by daughters of Good Go Ing Mr Davidson. 

MAJOR has proven himself as a consistent sire of great hunting Labradors .  He has now sired over 30 litters.  He produce prodigy with sensible personalities, great drive to work and to please with good looks and build.  Major has had a tremendous influence on our breeding program over the last several years.  Now his sons and daughters are quickly showing their ability to produce these characteristics into their puppies. 

FC HAWKEYE’S MAJOR DAY earned over 30 all-age points in his trial career.  FC LAKERIDGE’S MAGNUM MIKE earned 60 Derby points and an open win before 2 years old.  FC-AFC BLACK GOLD’S KATES RASCAL is a strong performer and producer.  Rascal earned 51 Derby points in the 1986 season and was 8^th place over all.  Rascal’s sire, FC-AFC LAKERIDGE CHARLEMAGNE earned 185 ½ All-Age points, he is a 5 time National Finalist and sire of 10 FC’s. 

SUMMER produced two very nice litters with Major.  She had great desire for working upland or waterfowl and the sweetest personality.  AFC HAWKEYE’S B.R. BUDDY was a competitive trial dog and a sire of top gun dogs.  FC-AFC CANDLEWOODS M.D. HOUSTON was named the High Point Amateur Dog in 1991,92 and 94.  He is a 3x Double Header Winner, with over 300 All-Age points.  Houston ’s sire, FC-AFC LAKERIDGE’S CHARLEMAGNE earned 185 ½ All-Age points, he is a 5 time National Finalist and sire of 10 FC’s.  These credentials make this the strongest line of yellows in history. 

FC-AFC L & M’S KWIK TRIP had an outstanding field trial career, earning himself 134.5 All-Age points.  His last placements were at nearly 10 years old.  He was also a finalist in the 1993 and 1994 National Amateur Retriever Championships.

NFC-AFC SAN JOAQUIN HONCHO and SUPER POWDER are two other standout dogs in Copper’s Pedigree.  Honcho earned the Outstanding Sire of Field Trail Retrievers Award from 1983 to 1990.  From 1991 to 1997 two of his sons won this honor.  SUPER POWDER was named the Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers in 1982.  He produced many great dogs including ’80 NFC Risky Business Ruby, ’82 NFC Westwind Supernova Chief and ’87 NAFC Westwind Jemima Super Cake.       

GOOD GO ING TRACI:

TRACI has a sweet and affectionate personality. She is one of a few dogs that stay in the house with us.  She moved into the house, from the kennel when she was 4 years old.  She has adapted to her new life very quickly.  She is a fun dog to have around.  Along with her great personality, Traci is an avid retriever. She loves the water and is a great swimmer.  Traci is very athletic and is also a driven upland hunter.  Her breeding combines a heritage of top Good Go Ing Labradors, through Rudy, Classy and Nancy and the top Labradors of competition in both performing and producing abilities. 

Throughout the 1990’s, RUDY was our main sire.  He sired several nice litters each year.  He has been a great asset in our breeding program and has provided us with several females to go on with, including Traci and Madison.  Rudy is a half brother to FC-AFC-CFC-CAFC Papas Punch.  Papa was a finalist in the 1993 and 1995 Canadian National Amateur Championships.  Rudy and Papa are both by Classy.  CLASSY is a daughter of the Pacer - Nancy breeding.  She was one of our best producing dams. 

Rudy's father, ZIPAROO was a FC-AFC at 22 months of age.  One of the youngest dogs in history to earn these titles.  He is also a brother to 6 other FC’s.  His sire, NAFC Trumarc's Zip Code (444 All-Age points) has been named the Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers 1991 to 1995.  His father, NFC San Joaquin Honcho earned the Outstanding Sire of Field Trail Retrievers award from 1983 to 1990.  Ziparoo's other grandfather, Super Powder was named the Outstanding Sire in 1982.  Super Powder produced the ’80 NFC Risky Business Ruby, ’82 NFC Westwind Supernova Chief and ’87 NAFC Westwind Jemima Super Cake    

PIPERS PACER, in ’82 was named the NAFC and CNFC.  He also sired many great performers including FC-AFC Hiwood Clincher and ’88 CNFC Hiwood Piper Pacer’s Pic (’85 Nat. Derby Champion).  Rudy's pedigree includes 3 crosses to BIG RIVER MANCY.  She is the mother of NAFC-CNFC Pipers Pacer, FC-AFC Big River Ruffian and Little Ms. Mischief.  Mancy was bred 6 times to 5 different sires and produced 9 FC's.  She is one of the best producing females in history.  

FARRAH was a well built female with nice conformation.  She was bred twice to Twister, twice to Dave and once to Rudy.  She produced nice litters with each of these sires.  COACH’S BIG RUFF tied for the #2 Amateur All-Age dog of the year in 1994 with 27 points.  He now has over 70 All-Age points and has qualified for 5 Nationals.  COACH OF CLEAR CREEK is sired by FC-AFC Volwood’s Ruff and Reddy, one of Super Powder’s most dominate sons.  HOT PURSUIT, a leading sire, produced ’95 NFC Vinwood’s Takes A Lick’n, also the ’91 Nat. Derby Champion with 96 points.  FALLEN has points of All-Age competion.  TARNATION is the sire of CNFC Big River Bonnie Amie and the grandsire of NAFC Candlewood’s Bit O Bunny.  CHICA is a sister of NFC-NAFC Candlewood’s Super Tanker, the 1995 and 1996 Outstanding Sire of Field Trial Retrievers.
