IKE
was born and raised at Good Go Ing. He is the offspring of Major and Hope.
Unfortunately this turned out to be Major’s last litter. Major was a very
dominate sire in our breeding program. He
can be found in many of our pedigrees. Ike’s initial training was started by
Jason Gooding. Don King of We recently bred Ike to GGI Country Girl “Jessie”. This will be Ike’s second litter. He is a very impressive dog and a great representative of the breed. Physically, he has a strong, solid build. He is of perfect size, large enough to handle tough hunting conditions, yet small enough to be quit an athlete and the active upland bird hunter we look for. His desire to hunt and pursue game is second to none. These attributes alone with his impeccable manners make him a great choice as a sire. MAJOR is
an exciting sire with an equally exciting pedigree. His litters produce prodigy
with sensible personalities, great drive to work and to please with very good
looks. Major’s breeding includes some of the most sound and influential FC HAWKEYE’S MAJOR DAY earned
over 30 all-age points in his trial career. FC LAKERIDGE’S MAGNUM MIKE earned
60 HOPE carries on the 5th generation in a strong line GGI Labrador dams, going back to GGI Nancy. Hope is a beautiful female with a great desire to please. She has produces great litters with Major and King. TWISTER is a well bred Lab with good size and great conformation. He has produced many excellent litters, with a great desire to retrieve, hunt hard and with pleasing personalities. Twister's father, TWIST AND SHOUT is an accomplished trail dog, as well as an excellent hunting dog and a pointing lab. He has his open win and was only 1 point away from his FC. DAWN is known for her drive and style to perform, willingness to please and great disposition. She has proven to be an excellent producer.
